Existing city infrastructure is aging. Despite this, the idea of reconstructing cities with smart infrastructure to accommodate robotics is not realistic.

The Maintenance bot kinds of hangs out in the lobby when it's not busy doing it's thing.
When it's not monitoring our hallways making sure the building is in good shape, it's spending time in the lobby or in the maintenance room waiting for it's next task.
A TOOL FOR EVERYTHING
Whenever it's doing something new it just grabs a new tool from it's bucket.
Whether it's scanning walls for water leaks or pressing the elevator button to go up to the 3rd floor, the maintenance bot has the right end effector to do what it needs to do.
BUILDING HEALTH CHECKS
Scanning for water leaks, electrical shorts or that odd mouse running down the hallway.
The maintenance bot tracks the health of interior walls and hallways. It can even scan into the walls to see what's happening inside the wall. Today it even found a leak in my apartment.

The maintenance robot is a bit shy and hides away when people approach.
To be respectful of people walking past it in the hallways, the robot hides away so as to not intimidate people. I think it's kind of adorable.

The maintenance robot reports back on any issues and coordinates with trades workers.
In my previous apartments it's always been tricky trying to find times to be home when plumbers or electricians needed to come by to fix things. The maintenance bot takes care of this for me and saves me a lot of headaches.
